Well done AJ. It’s not always easy to just talk to no one for that long, but you made it interesting. Yes, the Avs have been doing a couple things that are head scratchers, but, I’ve learned from the MD trade that Sakic usually has reasons for what he’s doing. It’s going to be fun to see the changes this summer and how the team comes together during trainjng camp.
Thank you! Sakic has certainly earned some leeway and trying to judge decisions in May is questionable by nature. I’m already itching for September.

Could you help me understand what they see in Anton Lindholm? For an undersized defenseman (something the Avs have an issue with already) he seems very average in terms of skating and puck moving skill to me. Yet, he’s a guy that it sounds like they may keep over a Mark Barberio.
Lindholm is basically a smaller Nemeth. That’s why he basically lost his job as the year went on. The bigger, more physical player had more consistent success and won out.
