Loved the last bit about the journalistic process!
Also, on the 2001 Avs playoff run, I remember watching Coaches Corner during that time and Don Cherry comparing the Avs and the Blues during the series. He showed clips of Avs players fully stretched out on the ice to block shots (even against McInnes!) and then Blues players going out of their ways to avoid getting hit.
I remember the ’96 run as well, but ’01 was off the chart!
I feel bad for being a dick to AJ about Radulov. Sorry!

Fantastic PodCast… the journalistic process was really great, the question leading to talking about Mission-16W was great… I enjoyed hearing about how you and AD work together.
Best team in hockey here… This podcast remains a highlight to my work week…. seriously look forward to it every single week.
Cannot wait for next week. I hit BSN 5 times a day at least waiting with baited breathe for the next anything because I know I will hear it first here, or get the best insight to what i really happening here.
You guys rock.

Very interesting stuff on the team and your journalistic process. I am really looking forward to following you guys this season from Minnesota. Thanks for what you guys do. Great stuff every week, even in the dead of summer when not much is going on from a hockey stand point.
I wouldn’t mind the Avs signing Jagr. It couldn’t hurt team chemistry or the power play. I mean he’d be a vast improvement over Comeau, Colborne, or Soderberg wouldn’t he?

Are you guys serious about Jagr? He drives possession like 14th best in the NHL, among forwards, that’s 14th best in the world fools. He scored 2 less goals than Duchene last year and more points. He’s cheaper than Duchene. What if Yakupov doesn’t work out and we trade Duchene??? Plus he’d be freaking Jaromir Jagr on a team full of rookies. I know the Iginla debacle left a bad taste in everyones mouth last year but so did the whole season. You think he wouldn’t sell tickets and viewing? AJ you have NO BALLS if you don’t explain what you think is wrong with Jagr on a 1 year deal for like $4 million. Or anyone else want to explain why this is a bad idea?

Quick point on the Altitude market question. We do not get any of the Utah Jazz games on AT&T Sports Net (formally Root Sport), So I am assuming the same would be true for the Vegas Golden Knights. I can see them getting blacked out here in Denver.
