I wish Sakic was talking about trying to win the cup next year or the year after and every year after that. The Avs have a bonafide superstar, tons of cap space, 2 good goalies (which should both be kept, cap space remember), a good blueline when EJ’s not hurt, with good prospects coming and multiple early round picks the next 2 years. Plus lots of cap space.
