I can’t believe Bednar didn’t pull Bernie after the 3rd goal. I can’t understand why they played Bernie instead of Varly, freakin BS. Maybe Bednar doesn’t like Russians? Nieto needs to be on nacho duty for the rest of the year, and right after I defended him too, SMH. I miss Greer right now, why don’t they try him in Landy’s spot? Aside from one particular shot against the Stars I think Rants looks like he needs to be back in the AHL for a while or something.

Just got to this podcast today. Was pretty depressing listening to all the reasons that the Buffalo Sabres were so awful and eminently beatable (“best news in the world is that Buffalo is coming to town”, etc.) — and yet look what happened. Ugh (sinking feeling).
Anyway, thank you for enlightening me regarding our alarming lack of goal production from our defensemen. Yikes. Knew EJ just wasn’t scoring any, but hadn’t realized the problem was d-wide.
