The fact that they said this was conclusive aside I find 2 bigger issues with this.

1. It would probobly help if the cameras they use for these calls aren’t from 15 year old flip phones, I mean what is that 360p?
2. The rules are entirely in contradiction with each other, how can a player be off ice for too many men but be on ice for offsides?

Something needs to be fixed here, we got robbed on that call which could have changed the game. Especailly considering the clear cut advantage we took into the 3rd.

Thanks for all of your hard work and posting this. I needed this after a tough loss. You said it perfectly, Avs didn’t get beat they got “got”

AJ, good PC to wrap up a bummer of a result. Like you said, the AVS and their fans did get robbed and “GOT” and the video review wasn’t conclusive to turn it over. The thing that pisses me off with NBC is on some reviews in other games they totally zoom in the camera to show what happened. They brag about it. The Columbus goal that hit the netting and another goal by I think Carolina that sneaked in from the corner and they zoomed in on the plastic on the side of the goal to see the puck between the goalies pad and the goal net plastic by the post. They can zoom in, why didn’t they zoom in on Landeskog skate as the puck crossed the blue line? Is it because they are such SJ and Joe Thornton homers that they won’t show video that hurts that story? NBC lost a lot of credibility last night. If you ever get good video please, film room it for us. It sucks that that call impacted a game 7.

SN sportsnet.ca in Canada has a good blue line video look, sure looks like Landy’s skate was touching the blue line as the puck crossed. Certainly not conclusive enough to over turn the goal. Robbed.
