How much Colorado herbal medicine have you guys smoked before this podcast? ? Entertaining banter.

I can literally hear how bad Montano needs a sip of water, at times ?

I missed all but the tail end of the game.
It seems the Avs were outplayed but Bernie was a rock.
That’s not surprising with the injuries and for where the team’s at in general.

Good podcast boys — much more listener-friendly this week!

I don’t think the Avs would fair very well against Vegas in the playoffs, just my personal feeling on it. Or maybe it’s because I watched that game they played in Vegas at the beginning of the season 🙂

That 7-0 game was actually being dominated by Colorado until Vegas started catching all of the Vegas-ian breaks they’ve gotten all year. Remember they made it 2-0 on an absurd play that should have been ruled offside and then things simply snowballed from there. And Colorado has gotten significantly better than they were in what, the 10th game of the season? It’s a series I’d be very interested in because it would not be your classic 1/8 seed matchup.

I thought this was one of your best podcasts. Jesse did a good job moving segments along and facilitating discussion between AJ and AD. I have noticed a big improvement in his “yaknows” and they really only showed up occasionally when he is out of his host role and into commentator role.

I also notice how AD really tried hard not to interrupt as much. I heard you catch yourself a few times. Thanks, because it’s just un-listenable otherwise.

AJ’s comments about Jost were great and I really hope we get to see that guy with a letter on his sweater in the future. Not sure Landy, EJ or MacK would lose theirs unless traded, but AJ’s point is well taken.

I felt badly for AJ when he has to cover for AD’s desire to “add personality at the end.” You guys make the podcast free for a reason. To then say how people who listen should be obligated to subscribe is insulting. To top it off with equating a subscription to tithing is over the top.

The thing about the leadership structure is Jost is still only 19. He’s six years away from UFA, which is the same time EJ will be on his next contract or at the end of his career. It’s reasonable to expect the shift in leadership by that time depending on how things go with EJ.

And we’ve taken all the criticism to heart and are working hard on cleaning up some of the issues. Love the honesty. Keeps us on our toes and eliminates possibility of complacency 🙂

Thanks for the reply and not taking offense to our feedback. The podcast should basically be an advertisement for the site. If people like what they hear, they’ll pay a few bucks a month for the articles and there will be little need to ‘pitch’ the subscription.

If the Avs can stay in the hunt and get healthy, I am really interested to see what Bednar does with the line up. It will be a good problem to have, but the difference between playoffs and not, will in large part be due how he manages this.

Feedback is always vital in keeping our product at a high quality so I’m always happy to hear what y’all have to say. Glad we’re moving in the right direction.

I think, of all the players and situations, Bednar is going to be among the biggest keys down the stretch. They still haven’t figured out how to win on the road and they just stole a home game against a playoff team that badly outplayed them. Bednar’s maturation as coach will be a major driving factor in the playoff race.
