That whole Matt Duchene “it’s fine” comment had me crackin up

Great ending guys. You guys are the best and I love you (AD too). I agree with you on the punch-in-your-ticket thing Jesse. But, I think he would be a disaster in the well-oiled-machine that is the Avs locker room. You guys know we have a Swedish Captain that’s 5 years younger than him and probably not having a hall of fame career, right? If it weren’t Landy, Mack or EJ would be next. Where does he fit into the locker room? Scary. He seems to be a lightning rod for other off the ice issues as well. Hard-pass on EK.

We all should have learned one BIG thing from the Golden Knights and the Avs last year:

Winning is NOT about having EK or the Vezina winner. It’s about what’s going on in the players heads, and the locker room. Boom. Mic-drop. NO Erik Karlsson.

And you guys are talking about giving up Timmons and Compher and Ottawa’s 1st. HAIL NO. We can win without that guy and his overblown ego. I’m sad you guys wasted a whole pod on this, shoulda been a segment, maybe. I would much rather have a Post Dev-camp show, or at least a segment. Thanks for the good listen nonetheless.
