Maybe some folks around the ‘net will wait for more than a rookie tournament and a couple pre-season games before making a judgement on the careers of Kamenev and Kaut. They seem to be playing better every game now. That was a nice pass from Kaut on Compher’s goal and that move and shot that Kamenev got off with what I assume were three NHL players (it was the end of the game and Vegas mostly dressed their regulars) around him was about as nice as you’ll see on an ENG. 53% on FO’s is a nice little extra feature in a center as well.
I wonder how many people now have Francouz ahead of Grubauer on the depth chart?

You make a good point. May as well trim it down to roster players and those on the bubble and see what happens.
I am rooting for Frankie to keep Groobs honest, though. Especially if/when the Varly Era ends.

I agree that people should wait a bit on Kamenev and Kaut. But they should also give Grubauer a lot more games before passing judgement. I don’t think there’s any way the Avs Management has Francouz higher on the depth-chart. But it’s great to see him playing well, he could be a gem for the Eagles this year.
