Great podcast guys, I agree with pretty much every syllable. In the middle of the Philly game I sent a text to my wife who was 3 seats away (we have 2 sets of the Ice Breaker season tix and our kids tend to sit between us). It said, “win or lose tonight this is a really good hockey team, they have definitely taken at least one big step up.” You could watch both those games and slowly see the opponent getting frustrated knowing they weren’t going to win. G is becoming the first player since Foppa where you can’t take your eyes off him while he’s on the ice.

On a somewhat unrelated subject, have any of you every thought about asking Rantanen and Kamenev about this game (they were the 2 team captains, Rants is in front of the goal at the beginning of the clip and is shown near the end):

Maybe it’s still a little too raw for Kam to talk about. The whole thing seems out of character for him, he must have been really pissed off about the penalty call.
