I’ve been a big fan of Val but for various reasons he’s been a playoff disappointment ever since the Cup year. And the Mark Stone-like ability he used to display to take pucks away seems to have faded quite a bit.
As I mentioned in the comment section of the Drury article, I like the idea of Anaheim for Val or maybe, because they’re liely losing 3 veteran RDs in Carlson, Trouba, Gudas, get the 3 way swap going and the Ducks can get Rinzel and we can get Mintyukov from the Ducks.
