All the quantitative and qualitative perspectives are so useful. This is a difficult situation, especially on the heels of what happened with Mikko.
I’m honestly still very sad we lost the Moose and while time will tell if that was the right call, I just wish so badly he would have said yes to the $12M from the Avs in the beginning and we just move on with him on the team. I’ll always play the what-if game about that Dallas series if he was still in an Avs sweater.

The Mikko stuff will always hurt. He was on track to have his jersey retired and be an all-time great Av. Now he’s an all-time great Av with an asterisk. Him landing in Dallas made it all the worse. Had he stayed in Carolina, it was well wishes. Then he went super saiyan in a playoff series and smoked the Avs and that sucked. So, mortal enemy for the time being!
