I like Lindholm alot. But I’d rather see Mironov. I think Miro is still just trying to get comfortable and started, and possibly he has a lot more unexplored potential than Lindholm. Whereas we know what Lindholm brings at this point.

I agree Mironov is still figuring it out but I’m not sure the upside on either player is significantly higher than the other

Just a quick shout out from a long time die hard Avs fan from Yukon, Canada.

Loving the content and coverage you guys provide at BSN Avalanche, keep up the great work!

Re: Lindholm.. i dont mind his game, but its fairly raw/1 dimensional so far.

As for D’s battling for those 6/7 D spots (Lindholm,Mironov/Bigras).. is there any realistic long term future for any of them with Avs?obviously depending on their development, and progress of our top defensive prospects (Timmins/Makar),and if Sakic considers moving another core D-man (Barrie?)
Cheers

I think all of Lindholm/Mironov/Bigras are sitting in the same boat at this point. Each guy is battling for an NHL job that may not be there next season depending on what happens with the many personnel decisions that will ahve to be made. They could definitely consider moving Barrie, especially if Girard continues piling up points in his absence. If they do that, it just might save a spot for one of those three guys. I think Mironov is the likeliest candidate to rise above the other two at this point but I’m not sure any of the three are long-term Avs.

God it’s actually to be excited about some Avs defenseman instead of praying to the vulcanized rubber god that guys like Tyutin, Weircoch, Beauchemin do something besides being a pylon.
