(Gabe) -In January we won 10 straight and of course it means alot to us that we have a good team and can continue winning.

(Interviewer) -And for your own part, bouncing back performance wise, how do you feel about your season?

(Gabe) -Well of course I was disappointed and frustrated after last season but I managed to recharge during the summer and come back with a new attitude and “blooded tooth” (not sure if you have this expression?) and when playing with Rantanen and Mackinnon who have been fantastic and sometimes you just have to give them the puck and things will happen.

(Interviewer) -We talked about this before but how much did it tear on you to lose as much as you did last season?

(Gabe) -Well of course when you lose that much and end up with 48 points as a team eventually you start to doubt yourself and question if you really arent better than this as an individual or a team. But you have to reset yourself and when you start a new season all teams start with 0 points and you need to realise you have a new chance to redeem yourself and thats what we have done this year but of course there are a few games left that we need to take care of.

(Interviewer) -How much did it mean to you to finnish the season with the gold in the World Championships before the summer?

(Gabe) -It meant alot and thats why I wanted to join Tre Kronor to play for sweden but also to feel again that Im a good hockey player and get my self confidence back get to play important games, it was something you longed for last season and it means going in to the summer with a good feeling.
