Thanks AJ. I really appreciate these insider articles and getting some unbiased insights to our team. I’m super curious about that Mittelstadt-Bednar stubborn comment. I wonder what is being asked of him that could be more flexible on either end? It was looking so great last year with his fit and performance during the playoffs but got very ugly in that middle portion. I have liked his game picking up the past couple of weeks. To my untrained eye, it seems like he’s been doing better in some of these bigger game situations where he just stops thinking and is working hard moving his legs and going with his gut. It seems so mental. Perhaps why he did better in the playoffs? Like the intensity picks up so much that he can’t get lost in his head and it jolts him back to just playing with his instincts, which are pretty great.

Great stuff! I also would like to understand the perception of a Mittelstadt-Bednar disconnect better. Any way to elaborate?
