Let’s hear it for chemistry!
Previously the coaches kept trying the same lineups over and over and over hoping something would change…
Now that they’ve finally discovered lineups with chemistry, this team truly seems dangerous and I personally would prefer to see no trades. It’s always seemed to me that the stats on any given player can be very misleading because how good a player is depends so much on who his linemates are.
Granted, guys like Soderberg, Landy, Mackinnon etc help bring up everybody else, but still.
Case in point for Jost.
I look forward to the current set of lineups continuing to, as Jost said, wear down the opposing teams.

I made a negative comment the other day about Jost never being more than a decent 3rd liner. My comment obviously lit a fire. You are welcome everyone.

Line combos last night were great. More of those please, Bednar. Seemed like we were coming in waves.

I’m pretty upset that the obvious pun, “Jost in Time”, wasn’t used as the headline on the front page. Really making me reconsider my subscription.

We’ve used at least once and I’m pretty sure twice before. Same as “Return of the MacK” every time MacKinnon has come back from injury. Have to change it up

This whole season, and especially the last couple games, have really illustrated the importance of goaltending. It’s the difference between a 48 point team and a contender, plain and simple. Big, big question mark for the Avs future.

Need to shore that up, that’s for sure. We’re only one Varly confidence crisis or groin tweak away from circling the bowl again…

Probably true for 25 teams out there. You can always hope you get randomly lucky with crazy hot goalies but it’s usually just dumb luck when it happens. Andrew Hammond back in the day, Binnington in STL now, Carter Hutton beginning of the season.

I couldn’t figure where 2 extra minutes were given to “Z” either. The penalty seemed ridiculous to Greer too given actions of Winnipeg all night long and including the actions of the Winnipeg player in that shuffle.

Many here were calling for Greer. I think he’s been an upgrade and goes hard on every shift.
