This is an eloquent expression of what I’m feeling, but couldn’t possibly articulate myself. Gee, I’d subscribe to BSN right now if I wasn’t already subscribed. Thanks, AJ

Beautiful, sir. Hoping they play with speed and confidence. Hoping they let the pressure rest on the Sharks.

Yes the time is now! Agree with the need to play with speed and confidence and the knowledge that they have learned on how to beat SJ. Play with the attack mode mind set, not the weather the storm mindset. Slay em boys.

Absolutely! The closer we get to winning a series and the Cup, the more the opportunity is real and present. I’m going to be completely devastated, just like the Sakic/Forsberg/Roy years of contention, if we don’t beat the Sharks and go on to win the Cup. Cup runs are
golden and fleeting.

Encapsulates how most of us feel, even those of us who were getting ready to write this season off 2 or 3 months ago. I think even if the Stanley Cup is a tall order, I feel like getting past the Sharks would be a galvanizing moment for this franchise. While they still have formidable roster the Sharks are past their prime, kind a like the Avs around the time of the 2005 lock out. It’s time to put the nail in the coffin.

I don’t know… I’m feeling pretty good about tonight. 4-2 good guys.

If we somehow win tonight I might have a stroke. You can say all the right things, but this is still the Avs trying to win a game 7 in fucking San Jose.
Maybe this is the team to do it though…

These are good days – the ones where Avs fans can look to the future while enjoying today. The San Jose comments sections do not look like this one. There is pressure on the other side. They have to win, they missed their opportunity to close out game 6 and the proverbial window is just about to shut. Those fans are not in a good place.
