My problem with the 11 and 7 roster is exactly what we just saw this week. Got an injury one night and had to play the rest of the game shorthanded which caused us to look tired the next night.

Great article, Adrian. I appreciate the personal insight as I know you got a bad rap in the media when you were going through some personal stuff. I’m glad you’re back writing Av’s hockey (as I think you’re the best) but more importantly, I’m glad you’re finding your true self again. All the best and keep up the great work!

Got a little dirt in my eye there. You’re the man AD. I appreciate the way you are making the effort to develope the next generation of sports writers as well. Those guys and gals need to take note of the way you have always had some skin in the game both in your writing and with your interview subjects. I believe that is why the scoop has often trended your way over the years.

From when Adrian was fired from the Denver Post, the last line of his explanation:

“I hope to some day write a happier comeback story for you to read.”

Well, that day has come. Congratulations Adrian. Welcome back.

Thanks for having the courage to share your story. We are taught to hide our hardships and not reach out for support. The funny thing is that when it happens to us we think we are alone because most of the people around us have hidden their struggles. We all will have or have had struggles, I have too. Thanks again for having the courage to share yours. I believe it will help others that go through hard times. Go Avs!
