Go with the Force, Luke…but no matter how you slice it the Avs should never have let O’Reilly and Stastny escape. Now no C depth really (sorry, MacKinnon)…plus always draft the d-man (Seth Jones) over the forward unless his name is Ovie, Sidgeny Croskin or Stammer.

I disagree wholeheartedly with this. Far too early to evaluate ROR trade and this article makes a good point for Stastny.

Liked the discussion, but there’s no qualitative discussion here about how young people (in their early 20’s) have a tendency to think that things are only going to get better – when in fact this is not the case.

To my eyes it would be relevant for a Denver team that burst onto the scene before disappearing just as quick as it arrived.
