I would give Comeau a F+. The + because he scored. That high stick penalty when the score was tied really really F’d everything up.

Listless. Lost 6 of last 8 and one of the two wins was a shootout 2-1.
Getting frustrating. It’s really hard to believe that the avs somehow are going to come out of the gate with a high compete level on Saturday night.

It seems that the team as a whole just looks tired and that doesn’t bode well for Saturday. If they do pull the win off though it just seems like they don’t have much left in the tank to make any real noise in the playoffs. I’m hoping they destroy the Blues if for nothing else than to have Avs hockey to watch for a couple more weeks.

Grade for Bednar? F. A team doesn’t play well for a game ok. This team has absolutely given away points wholesale and you have to blame the coach.

Actually you do not have to blame the coach. I do not. I blame the team.

I agree with Bob W. They lost 3 games to 3 superior teams on the road. The coach can’t block shots or win battles or get shots through. Sometimes the other guys are just better.

Not sure what else Bernier could have done. He kept the game close and it’s not like he got much help.

T o repeat what I left on another thread, we’re just not at that level yet, but we’re coming.
