I think MacKinnon had to have slept with some refs wife or something. I just can’t understand why he never gets calls, and then they call that bs tripping against him. That’s gotta be frustrating for him. But you’re absolutely right, the first line needs to work harder.

Good story. Yeah the officiating really was bad, last game Byram hit in head by leaping hit, no response from the NHL. Pathetic! Mack kneed and then Mack called for high stick. Today’s trip on Mack in OT, non call, and what is interference any more, 3rd period Mack dumps puck into the corner to chase and is totally pinned to the boards with out puck and he can’t chase it down. Non Call. Frustrating, NHL is losing credibility in its attempt to “protect its players” and not doing anything when flagrant injury potential hits are made. The Non calls are B.S. How long is Byram out while Kolesar plays? B.S.

Yes Vegas outworked avs in the third so maybe they earned it, but it was close and maybe the silver lining is it keeps the Avs from getting self satisfied and they come back with more fire and desire.

For my money I’m less concerned about the Avs winning the Western Conference and more interested in them maintaining their health and energy for the playoffs, especially with St Louis 9 points behind the Avs.

It’s when they get stressed and tired that they become more vulnerable to injuries.

I like the idea of rotating players to give them a break – Burakovsky sure looks like he could use one right now.
