I was listening to Puck Soup on the way to work today and Lambert mentioned that LOC is tops in the league in Evolving Hockey’s defensive impacts. Obviously he’s not always facing the top lines but considering the cast of line mates he’s had this season it says a lot about him, and the job he and Kelly have done on the PK.

When I watch the top line/top pair crew get rolling in the O-zone I sometimes think they get a little too Globetrotterish for my liking but at other time I enjoy that and feel like it really frustrates the opponents’ D.
