I didn’t get to watch today because ESPN+ is my provider and they won’t compete against the NFL further proving that they suck.
Really happy to see Blackwood get right for this game. Avs have to lead the league in games allowing exactly 1 goal.
AJ, I too think Girard is not long for this team. Since it’s been reported that Shane Wright might be available do you think it’s possible to put together a package to snag Wright and Oleksiak? A potential 3C with room to grow and a monster to make the playoff defense Moore physical

AuthorIt would have to be Girard ++++ for Wright, I think, and Oleksiak is big but he’s really never been a physical defender the way you want a player of his size to be, but I do think you’re on the right track of where to use Girard as a trade piece to try to improve.

I agree it would have to be more. Maybe get a 3rd team involved so Seattle gets a more dynamic player like Kyrou or Thomas. The problem is that nobody’s really ready to declare themselves sellers yet

The decline of Burns lines up with Toews’ injury. He can no longer play up from what he was brought in to do.
