So we’re going to have the Olympic break and MacKinnon, Makar, Necas, Landeskog are going their separate ways and will all be surrounded by brilliant PP players and coaches. I feel like they’ll come back with some fresh perspective and ideas and start to click. Until then let’s enjoy the 5 on 5 domination and the ability to win even without the PP goals that Dallas and Edmonton rely way too heavily on

I’m really not sure how to shake it up because MacKinnon is a very loud voice in how the PP has developed and how do you put that toothpaste back in the tube, you know? It’s a real worry for me.

Yeah Nate is a loud voice but he wants to win. He’s seeing PP success with his buddies Miko and Sid and his biggest rival in McDavid. I’d really like to see them pull Cale off the point and let him play the half wall opposite Nate. Anything for a new look and new ways to get the puck to the net
