For the first time I feel like they have to move on from this coaching staff. I can’t bear to watch them enter the zone on the PP and pass the puck from the point to the half wall and back for 2 minutes without ever looking dangerous anymore and I still don’t know why he didn’t give Blackwood more run late in the season or during round 1. New voices.

Anyway, it was still a great season of hockey and I’ll still remember it that way.

Hakstol clearly has to go. He made last years power play look stellar next to his. I’m on the fence about Pratt. Bednar, while culpable, doesn’t really have a replacement, does he? He’ll get snapped up if he’s let go and who is out there good enough to replace him? Unless the player exit interviews are damning, or he chooses to leave, I don’t see the front office letting him go.

I’m still just dumbfounded as to why they were incapable of mounting a response all series. It’s like they just didn’t care. How can that be the case? Their whole season was lining up for this situation, how could they just seemingly watch idly by as Vegas took it from them? Where was the grit, determination, and focus? So many sloppy mental errors and lack of concentration. Still can’t believe it.
