If a bunch of ahl dudes play a preseason day game and no one sees it, did it really happen?

I went to my DVR and it was gone! I think there’s some merit to this!

Honestly, a minus-1 for Kamenev isn’t so bad for a team that lost 7-0. But yeah, I would hope for more shots. But, if they can’t get into the zone, can’t shoot much.

Maybe we could get the Broncos to help get us a touchdown. c]:-

On second thought, they need to keep all they can get. c]:-)

2016-17 48 points. Preseason 6-0. 2017-18 95 points and a badass playoff appearance. Preaseason 0-6.

Who wants to start the #lostthegrubauertrade narrative on twitter?

Preseason is preseason.

I thought that Girard looked really good. He moved the puck quickly and seemed (16 pounds) stronger than last year. I was disappointed in the Jost line even though Kerfoot looked good at times. Kamenev definitely did not play with fire and fury. In general the D did not support movement of the puck so the the lines could do their job. Just my opinion. I like the comment about “did the game really happen”.

Based on the way the AHL talent has played, is this an indicator of how poor our AHL system has been at developing players? Or is it just new systems might be too difficult for them right now?

Regardless of score, they look sloppy handling the puck and giving it away. I’m hoping it’s just squeezing the stick a bit due to the competition level.

For those of you who didn’t get to watch the game last night, they had a Minnesota broadcast on NHL.tv, you may or may not be able to catch the next one there too.

When you lack confidence it comes off your stick quick, too hard, and without pause and a look at your second option. Lot of scared players out there with white on against the Wild. The future is not looking bright for many of our “prospects.” When training meets opportunity we would all be talking about the vision/creativity//hands/finish. Instead it looked like a Rec league scrimmaging professionals.
