To me it feels like once teams get completely shut down attempting controlled zone entries early in games against the Avs they start to get aggressive in releasing the high forward, especially when the Avs D pinches. It’s a gamble they feel is necessary. I think we’ll continue to see breakaways, particularly in the 2nd period of games where they get single digit shots in the 1st. Game within the game.
