This isn’t bad but I would have liked to see something about Helm in his first game of the season or how that line looked now that they have a chance to play together finally

Helm played on a line with Kaut and MacDermid, so he didn’t really play on what will be his normal line. It was only briefly he was with Cogliano and LOC. Appreciate the feedback!

I really enjoyed this! Love the video work to help illustrate points and for me to learn.

It’s easier to keep track of how a player is doing when each player’s performance is broken down

this is an interesting format. I like the grades and this. I suppose if they aren’t a stud or a dud they played a C to B grade game. If you keep this format, maybe add a section on “How the call up prospect did” as I and probably other readers are curious as to how they played.

Hey Aj — I love this format, you give more detail about things that are most important in the game! And your video clips are a great addition

I think something that’s missing from the grades is a way to track depth player performance. If you found a way to highlight a couple players of interest as well (Helm and Meyers would intrigue me this game, and I always like looking at Englund’s play) I think folks would appreciate that.

I know I used the grades to confirm or refute my thoughts on fringe guys, and looking at the other comments so far it’s nice to see I’m not alone.

Great work as always! Happy New Year.

Love this format for sure. Agree with other that it might be nice to highlight a singular player who had a standout game (good or bad) or someone who isn’t usually in the lineup. But this is definitely a positive change.

Interesting change.
I like the addition of video and the more in-depth thoughts. And I really appreciate the segment on Kaut.
And chiming in along with the others on liking thoughts on the progress on some of the younger guys, even though they may not have had a big impact on the game.

I like this but it did leave me wanting just a little bit more. I like comments regarding Helm, younger guys or maybe best line/defensive pairing. Giving you a few games to figure out the right mix.
