MacKinnon looked tired, all the double shifting has to be taking a toll, a couple of easy games where it isn’t needed would probably be good for him and the team.

Preds got hosed on the goalie interference call…Z (whose game has deteriorated this season) clearly pushed the pred guy into franc…when things are going your way they are going your way

The Avs went 11-3-1 for Feb…and basically ended in the same position they were when things started in Feb. Darn Blues refuse to lose. But when you consider that half of February they had no Grubaur, Moose, Burakovsky and Calvert…that is an impressive month. Maybe Sakic was smart to keep all his chips and let health do what only selling off a lot of the future could do. But right now, dang Frankie is looking amazing!

Just last week I thought Landy looked awful. Now he seems to be more engaged and controlling the puck and playing better. MacK does look out of sync. He can’t seem to pinpoint shots currently like he has all year. Overall, the team is putting in a great effort defensively and has completely flip flopped their style to win games. Lastly, Jost does look more confident with the puck on his stick and Kaut looks great. If Kaut is kept on the roster, what then is his status for the expansion draft?
