Avs pulled 15 points from the first 10 road games. Could they be a 120 point team?

Can you explain 29 getting an assist on the GWG? The sequence was 29-54-29 leaves ice-54 skates to d zone – passes to 8 – 8 passes back to 54 – rush – goal

When 3 players handle the puck without interruption they usually all get a point and that’s pretty much what happened

One more thought on Brindley. He’s doing the job they thought Miles Wood would do when they gave him a 6 year deal only they traded 4th liner size for actual puck skills and it seems to be working. It worked with Cogs opposite LOC and soon we should get to see how it works with Brindley. BTW he (Brindley) really needs a nickname

Wood and Brindley are very different players. Wood drives a lot of offense and brings a ton of speed and plays with physicality that Brindley can only dream of. Brindley has waaaaaaay more raw offensive ability, but he hasn’t actually driven much play so far, but he’s been a more effective defensive player than Wood (who is one of the league’s worst defensive wingers). Very different paths, but the overall impact Brindley is having is certainly more of what the Avalanche were hoping they would get from Wood. I’d much rather have Brindley for the next four years than Wood, no doubt about that.
