Wedgewood once again allows only 1 goal and his save percentage decreased. 1st tier goalie problems?
Many times I’ve heard national writers/podcasters try to downplay both Makar and MacKinnon because they play together so much without acknowledging how much the Avs have relied on them to carry the team. I just love watching them together. When the first line/first pair get into the O-zone they do stuff and put up numbers that should prove that they are indeed the MVP and Norris winners

AuthorIt has been odd to me for them to look at the numbers they produce together and without each other, which are both worse, and come to the conclusion that they are somehow not as good as perceived because of it. I’m sorry but if a 1C and 1D on any team are producing 60% xGF numbers together, that’s a good thing and also EXACTLY WHY A HEAD COACH PLAYS THEM TOGETHER AS OFTEN AS HE CAN. HOW IS THIS A CRITICISM!
