In the latest installment of “Avalanche Storytime”, presented by Bender’s Sports Bar and Grill, Adrian Dater takes a look back to a night in December, 1999, a night when Patrick Roy got just a little bit angry with his stick in the office of second-year coach Bob Hartley.
Despite the Avs winning that night, Roy wasn’t too thrilled afterward.

While Roy’s behavior is not something that reflects well on his legacy these are the type of stories that add color to a team’s history and give fans something to talk about when reminiscing about the past.
