With the All-Star break winding down it seems clear the Avs are in the driver’s seat in the western conference and maybe even the entire league. A solid second half could set the Avs up for home ice through the entire playoffs.

Excellent analysis as usual, Rudo. Great point about the Avalanche beating decent teams so far. In addition to those you mentioned, they’ve defeated the Rangers twice, Toronto, St. Louis and LA on the road, and Anaheim three times. Their current point streak is actually 17 (15-0-2) not 16 (14-0-2). Go Avs!
