I like the Drury scoring a big goal in the PO’s. It is his destiny!

The ridiculous 5 on 5 play of the top line/top pair this season has allowed for Nelson and Landy to have slower point production to start without really hurting the team overall. As long as they keep building toward the big finish all is good. You just feel like at some point Landy and Burns will find a little of that tip-in magic like Burns had with Pavelski in San Jose.
Knowing how Bednar likes to use his bottom six it’s easy to see a time after the Olympic break when the Kelly/Drury/LOC line is back together whether you call that the 3rd line, 4th line or whatever and it’ll get its 10 minutes a game to create chaos.

If the Avalanche top 9 is healthy, I’m not sure a Kelly/Drury/LOC fourth line makes much sense. Who is your 3C in that situation? An Olofsson-Bardakov-Brindley line would be fun on paper, but it’s begging to get its head kicked in defensively, which renders all of the fun stuff on the offensive side moot. If they added another solid center somewhere along the way, yes, absolutely I can see them reuniting those guys as a powerhouse fourth line.

Assuming full health in the top 6 maybe you put Brindley and Val with Nelson and that leaves you Colton and Landy to surround Bardakov and you just stop letting the other team have the puck. And like I mentioned, Bednar really deploys them more as 2 4th lines that go out depending on situation and get 10 minutes a piece
