The boys reminded me of the Duchene-fueled tantrums from last year after going down 3-1 in the 3rd.

The first two periods were so great. I can’t believe that meltdown happened. So disappointing.

Those pts frittered away against Van, Chicago, and Nash are looking bigger and bigger.

When you go on the road and dominate the first period but come away with zero goals, you’re probably not going to win. The Avs scored a total of 3 goals in 3 games vs Vegas and to come out in the third and play like they were already down 3-1 or 4-1 is a bad sign for this team. This game shows us why their road record is so bad.

For the first time it looked like a young Avs team was feeling the pressure. I wish they would view themselves as the yong upstarts with nothing to loose. Just play a fast free flowing game and see what happens.

Man, I know Bednar said he didn’t want to ‘over coach’ these guys at this point in the season but I sure hope he dug into them a bit about their effort in the 3rd. I’ve never seen such a immediate decline in effort.
