Barrie’s goal was a perfect example of what Colorado so frequently tries to accomplish on offense but so rarely does. A cycled puck into a collapsing defenseman into a perfect finish from Barrie.

TURNING POINT

Colorado’s late-game struggles this year were not present tonight as they executed well throughout the third period and kept Buffalo off the scoreboard. Landeskog’s empty-net goal with under one minute to play punctuated their solid team effort.
