Fair graces. Definitely thought cannuagton (sp) was better than Timmins today

I’m not dreaming, right? That was actual hockey (exhibition or not) between two NHL teams! The first 25 minutes looked okay (save the refs could have let play happen more), then it felt like the first game of normal preseason. Be interesting to see how fast teams can get to game shape. But watching McKinnon’s speed…that is amazing in July, December or June. Let’s go Avs!

I was allowed to see the opening 5 minutes of the game on NHLTV before the programming changed to some countdown of the league’s best rivalries. I assume this happened because of blackout rules.

I’d like Comcast to get their $#!% together so I can see the Avs this weekend. Highly unlikely I bet. Is the fact they are owned by NBC/Universal playing into their negotiations with Altitude? DirectTV really isn’t an option for me given the physical layout of my house. Any suggestions for us pandemically-bound Comcast-cursing Avalanche fans?

Hopefully I can see them beat the Blues on Sunday.

Bummed there will be all day hockey when most of us have to work regular m-f day jobs
It’s not like prime time games after work
I can’t watch hockey at 12pm or 3pm during the week so most of us can’t watch hockey all day everyday like those in the business
Can’t wait for normal playoffs every night starting at 5:30, 7 and 8:30pm
