Man these stories might as well be copied and pasted. Same old thing again. At this point, do the avs deserve a playoff berth, given how flat they’ve been? I think they should have to deal with the consequences of the mistakes they’ve made.

I hope they prove me wrong on Saturday night and shut me up.

Playoffs or not, I really hope the Avs get better and address their weaknesses in the offseason. IF the Avs somehow managed to claw their way into the playoffs, I don’t think they would fare too well against a Nashville team that has had their number all season.

talk me down of the ledge guys. Are we imploding? Is this 2015 all over again?

2015 team was an aging team that had maxed out as a group. This is a team just beginning. Big, big difference regardless of Saturday’s result.

Either way this goes, I’m still very happy with how this development year has gone.

I hope they get in to get that valuable playoff experience against the league’s best, even if they get smoked.

Is it just me, or was the refereeing particularly brutal tonight? At least 3 missed non calls on MacKinnon.. And the pavelski penalty shouldn’t’ve been called.

Very slow start, but I thought they played a good 2nd and 3rd..

Around July 1 we can all sit around and look back on the success this season has been. It has been a great turn around and the future looks amazing. Right now, however, I won’t do that. I expect that this team and the player who was, up until recently, making a strong case for MVP actually show up. I expect that the Capt, who we’ve been told is largely responsible for the team’s turn around this year through his leadership, not make one think he must be a late scratch because you certainly don’t notice him on the ice.

It is disappointing to see the team be given such an amazing opportunity over the past week and shy away from it. We were all lamenting the “lack of help” the Avs were getting not long ago. Well, they have gotten all the help any team could possibly ask for this late in the season and they can’t seem to muster the game to make use of it.

And now it comes down to this. Of all the games that have been the biggest of the year to that point the game Saturday truly is the biggest. Let’s hope the Avs capitalize on this opportunity and just take it. I’m ready to see if this team is ready to take that next step and get into the playoffs in a pressure cooker situation of win and get in. Let’s go Avs!
