I’d take Tom Hardy in just a nut cup at this point: https://youtu.be/4adq-ZTXHZo

At the beginning of the season goaltending and defense were supposed to be this teams strengths with secondary scoring being the weak spot. Now we have 3 weak spots and seeing the top line cool off. Oh boy. It would be awesome if Francouz could give us maybe a short burst of steady tending so the defense could maybe gain a little confidence back.

Francouz could be the next Yorvit Torrealba.

The real question then, is…does he like purple?

I laughed an actual laugh at your comment, gracias.

Great article.

Roll with Francouz. Grubauer has been by far imo the biggest disappointment of the off season acquisitions. This team is in need of a serious shake up and nothing should be off the table. So let’s get out the line up blender and go crazy.

Bednar could “go sane” and start by scratching Bourque and giving Greer a real opportunity.

We can always hope, but I think it’s far fetched. For some reason, Bednar won’t scratch Bourque for any reason. Mind boggling.

Just for accuracy Bourque has been scratched 7 times this season.

It appears that the AVs are tighter than a rubber band on a young male sheep. I hope that this perceptive article did not jinx Pavel. Please let the Rangers do the NY flop tonight.

The other good teams, except for TBL, have had losing streaks too.
Either the top teams are getting tired, or the lesser teams are starting to adjust their games and figure out how to beat the better teams, or some combination of factors.

In this league pretty much any team is capable of beating any other team at some point.

I’m glad to see Bednar is willing to make changes… I like having confidence in his system… but when things ain’t working you have to wake up and adapt, and Bednar seems to be slow to do so.

I have felt disappointed in both Varly and Grubauer.
They both have had their winning streaks and brilliant saves but they both fall apart at critical moments.

Right. In spite of bad overall records this season both Chicago and LA came in here with 4 game winning streaks and playing good hockey.
