Avalanche Film Room: Anatomy of a game-tying goal

In case you missed it last night, the Colorado Avalanche had one of those dramatic late-game comeback wins where they were losing by one goal late in the third period, pulled the goaltender, then scored the game-tying goal in dramatic fashion.

They would go on to win in a shootout over the San Jose Sharks and the Avs are 2-0-0 on the season. Fun times all around.

When I woke up this morning, I just couldn't shake the feeling that I wanted to dig a little more into the shift that led to the tying goal.
