The Colorado Avalanche have announced their preseason schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
After playing a jam-packed eight game preseason in 2014-2015, the Avalanche have opted for a shorter six game preseason this year, facing the Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, and Los Angeles Kings twice each.
The Avalanche open the preseason with three straight home games before going out on the road. The preseason finale will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, as the Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings face off in the 17th annual Frozen Fury game.
Avalanche training camp and rookie camp will likely take place in mid-September. There is no date yet for the annual Burgundy/White Game.
The Avalanche head to Florida for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft June 26-27th and NHL Free Agency begins July 1st.
