New Broncos DL Antonio Smith was introduced to the media via conference call this afternoon. Smith is entering his 12th season in the NFL after being signed by Denver last week.

Smith known for his longevity, played in 15 or more games for 8 consecutive seasons. With Bill Kollar as his defensive line coach in Houston, Smith started 78 of 80 games.

“I expect to play alot,” Smith said. “Im looking forward to having my best season, my body is in excellent condition.”

We asked Smith about where he feels about his ability, “The more seasons I get, the more crafty I get as a pass rusher. Im getting better in my opinion.”

Smith only tallied 3 sacks in 16 games for the Raiders last season but admitted the sack opportunities “weren’t as plentiful” in Oakland. He shouldn’t have that issue playing alongside Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware.
