Some injury updates from Adam Schefter and Bob Holtzman
“Not looking good” for WR Antonio Brown to play Sunday vs. Denver due to his concussion, per @BobHoltzmanESPN. “Very likely” Ben plays.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) January 12, 2016
Brown was injured in the 4th quarter of Pittsburgh’s win at Cincinatti Saturday on a play where Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict collided with Brown, that has earned Burfict a three game suspension for the 2016 NFL season.
Pittsburgh’s passing attack will certainly take a hit without Brown who led the Steelers with 136 receptions, 1834 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015. Stats via ESPN.com
Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib hopes they’ll get a second shot to cover the electric Brown, who got the best of the Broncos defense a few weeks ago, but may have to settle covering less threatening targets come Sunday.
