Dylan Thomas, a wide receiver out of Sante Fe Springs, California, has told the Colorado Buffaloes he’s ready to join the herd.

Thomas has been in Boulder this past weekend for the annual BBQ that the team puts on for players and recruits. It’s no secret that head coach Mike MacIntyre has preached that they just have to get them to Boulder and that usually works its magic.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is rated as a four-star recruit on Scout and ESPN and three-star on 247sports and Rivals.

Thomas has great size and also has shown the ability in high school to torch cornerbacks with his speed. He will join Daniel Arias, Dimitri Stanley (ability to play on defense) and Jarek Broussard (RB/WR hybrid) as the receivers in the 2018 class.

The blue-chip recruit held offers Alcorn State, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Bowling Green, BYU, Cal, Cal Poly, CSU, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Indiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Purdue, Sacramento State, SJSU, Utah, Utah State, Washington State, and Wyoming.

He was recruited by wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini, who can’t stop bringing receiver talent to Boulder.
