In August 2022, the DNVR Nuggets traveled to Serbia to learn more about the history and culture that helped raise the two-time NBA MVP, Nikola Jokic. Join them as they explore Belgrade, tasting the food and drinking more than their fill of Rakija in various restaurants around town.

Follow them to Sombor, where they meet Jokic’s childhood coach and visit KK Joker. Hear from Misko Raznatovic, the most powerful agent in Europe and the man who first identified Jokic as a professional talent. And journey with them to learn about a rich history of basketball in Serbia that dates back 100 years, including a EuroBasket tournament run that defined a nation.
