Ever been to a block party with 1,000,000 of your closest friends? Well if you were in Denver on Tuesday odds are you were probably part of the celebration the City threw for 1/6th of its population for the Denver Broncos third Super Bowl victory.

BSN Denver arrived at Civic Center Park at about 10:00 a.m. Three full hours before the team would arrive and there were already thousands of Broncos fans waiting to greet their team. Fans watched highlights from the season in between performances of local bands like ’30h3!’ and intermittent updates on the parade from Dave Logan and Ed McCaffrey who were the emcee’s of the event.

The team arrived just after 1:00 p.m. with the Lombardi in hand. The players soaked in the sea of orange in front of them while Mayor Hancock and Governer Hickenlooper got the party started. Annabelle Bowlen gave a quick statement from that plain white sheet of paper we have become accustomed to her having then Broncos General Manager John Elway got to talk to Broncos Country at his third parade in Downtown Denver.

Von Miller would be the first player to speak, over the booming “M-V-P” chants.

Miller then turned it over to team captains Peyton Manning and DeMarcus Ware.
