SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Denver Broncos lost to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but suffered potentially even more significant losses in the process.
In the final minute of the first half, Pat Surtain II left the game and did not return.
Surtain suffered a non-contact injury as he was following 49ers’ receiver Jacob Cowing on the back end of a play.
