The Colorado Avalanche finished their Rookie Showcase today with a 6-5 shootout loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. They won their first game yesterday in dominating fashion, a 7-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.
Many of Colorado’s best players appeared in the Ducks game and then sat out the Vegas game, including Taylor Makar, T.J. Hughes, and Alex Gagne.

Good to hear that the older players did what they needed to do and after what I’ve read about Hamilton that’s exactly what I would have expected from him. Very happy to hear that they might have some solid goalie depth, whether they stay to become trade bait

AuthorI liked Novosyolov’s game. He looked GREAT. Several huge saves. One of the goals he allowed was on the THIRD shot attempt with no Avs defender near him. It was some awful, awful defense.
