But after dropping the season opener in eight straight years, a stretch that’s been downright disastrous coming off the hype of building a new stadium, Colorado State has a chance to show the fanbase that for the first time in at least a decade, this team might just be different.
Despite the differences in resume, and despite wildly varying coaching styles and personalities in general, the last three CSU Football coaches all struggled with two key things: the first being slow starts out of the gate, and the second being the ability to win the big game.
