ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — It’s been over 300 days since J.K. Dobbins played in a football game.
“I’m itching pretty bad. But in a good way. No bad itches,” the Denver Broncos‘ starting running back said on Wednesday, when asked how ready he is for his return on Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs. “It’s going to be great. I think It’s going to a great night for us, for me as well. It’ll be a great way to start the season.”
When Dobbins takes the field, it’ll be exactly 313 days since he suffered a Lisfranc injury in the Broncos’ Week 10 win against the Las Vegas Raiders last season.
It’ll be his first game action since then too as he didn’t play a single snap in the preseason.
