Colorado football fans received some good news from Deion Sanders about Danny Scudero on Thursday.
The Buffs‘ prized transfer receiver has yet to participate in fall camp with a foot injury but Coach Prime says Danny Scudero is “progressing” and will “most certainly” play in Week 1 vs. Georgia Tech.
Danny Scudero is no longer confined to a scooter as of Thursday which is a huge sigh of relief for the Colorado football team. His rehab is ahead of schedule, per source.
Miami (OH) transfer Kam Perry also recently suffered an injury (elbow) but it is not expected to be anything significant. Deion Sanders said Thursday that Perry “will be alright.”
The Buffs’ receiving corps has now been hit with a few injuries.
Texas transfer DeAndre Moore Jr. missed the spring with a foot injury but he’s back practicing for fall camp. Returning WR Joseph Williams is also back healthy and looks to be full go after being expected to be a limited participant.
Coach Prime doesn’t seem worried about any of Colorado’s injuries at this point. The Buffs open up the 2026 season in just 28 days on the road at Georgia Tech.
